Kevin Butcher consistently rises to challenges. He plows through district bond workouts, troubled assets, entitlement issues, and complex financing structures. Kevin thrives on marketing difficult properties and unearthing undiscovered real estate gems. He continually seeks favorable resolutions and, most of all, to build value for his clients and partners.
Kevin’s unique talents stem from his broad background in business, real estate, sales, and property management. Graduating from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture, he ventured to Colorado to begin his career. Over the years, his career pursuits have led him into land development, construction, brokerage, property management, and the ownership of investment real estate. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM).
Over the years, Kevin has built long-lasting relationships with many local, national and international organizations and the key people behind them. He assisted Compassion International with multiple real estate needs and continues to advise them when necessary. When Outreach, Inc. needed to relocate, Kevin helped the company find the building that is now the corporate office. He also assisted the organization and its staff in making what was a difficult transition from California to Colorado.
Kevin currently serves on the Board of Pikes Peak Association of Realtors, the Falcon Education Foundation, is President of Fountain Mutual Metropolitan District and was recently elected to the School Board of District 49.
His past commitments to the greater Colorado Springs Community includes serving on the Colorado Springs Planning Commission, El Paso County Water Resource Study Commission, Forest Lakes Metropolitan District, Colorado Springs Economic Development Task Force, and as first chair of the Downtown Review Board.
Kevin and his wife, Jean, have four children who have kept them busy in multiple sports and music activities. They are active in the community and their church and enjoy vacations in the mountains or on the water.
