FH Beerworks, also known as Fieldhouse Brewing Company, started in November 2010 when Travis brewed his first batch of homebrew. From that point on both Travis and Niki knew that they wanted to open a business brewing beer. In October of 2013 they were able to lease 2,840 sf at a small retail center in south downtown Colorado Springs. They completed all their tenant improvements themselves and opened their doors on June 26, 2014. When they first opened, they only had 4 taps and were only open 6 days a week. Niki and Travis ran the business themselves without any additional help. Their business and reputation have grown rapidly over the last 3.5 years. They now have 16 taps, have an in-house canning operation and are open 7 days a week. They also have five team members to help meet the demand of their business. Their sales were at a point where their 5-barrel brewing system could not keep up with their demand. They needed a second location where they could have a larger brewing system with cold storage.

Travis and Niki are true entrepreneurs and have always dreamed of growing and expanding FH Beerworks.

They came across an opportunity to expand their business by adding a second location on the eastside of Colorado Springs, also known as 2480 & 2490 Victor Place. When their dream of growing their business became a reality, they quickly went to work planning out what this new facility would look like. They want to create a brewery with expansive taprooms and beer gardens, similar to ones that are popping up in Denver and Fort Collins. FH Beerworks wanted to be the first brewery like that in Southern Colorado.

CameronButcher was able to identify a site on Powers with two existing buildings on a large lot that was perfect for a second location. A CameronButcher entity purchased the 4.37 acre industrial site on Powers Boulevard where the Fields would be able to have a larger brewery as well as have a huge beer garden for the community. The existing structures have been remodeled as a brewery and taproom, which is leased in entirety by FH Beerworks. The added brewing capacity will quadruple FH Beerwork’s output allowing them to keep up with their demand and expand their distribution to local liquor stores. The outdoor beer garden and private barrel room will allow them to hold private events and serve more customers. FH Beerworks second location will be celebrating their one-year anniversary in September of 2019.
